Founded in January 2025, Ancestral Code Studio is a passionate game development startup. Not only focusing on popular and influential hybrid mobile games such as Idle RPG, Tower Defense and Puzzle genres, our vision also extends to mid-core, 2A and 3A titles, bringing memorable experiences globally. We are united by passion, ingenuity and commitment to showcase Vietnamese creativity on the world gaming map !!
Ancestral Code Studio was born from a deep-rooted passion for game development and a vision to bring Vietnamese creativity to the global stage. The journey began at FPT University, where founder Trieu Thanh Dat led the Google Developer Student Club’s Game Development Branch (GDSC)—not only mentoring fellow students but also founding his first team with talented juniors Khôi, Kiên, and Bảo, who would later become capable game developers themselves.
Over the years, Dat co-founded 0Đ Studio, gaining valuable startup experience and Game industry, then joined Amanotes, where he grew technically and creatively. There, he met Nguyễn Hương Giang (Artist/UI Designer) and other great teammates, and together they won the Grand Prize at YSEALI Global Game Jam 2023, later launching Bubpop to global stores (Playstore & Appstore).
The team expanded with Tống Mai Thành Đạt (Product Owner), Nguyễn Phụng Tường (Senior QC) Nguyễn Trần Thế Vũ (Web Engineer) and Võ Hoàng Việt (Unity Developer), all united by a shared vision: to build meaningful games and elevate Vietnam’s presence in the global gaming industry.
Together, we founded Ancestral Code Studio in January 2025, driven by values of craftsmanship, growth, empathy, and passion—with one bold mission: build a Vietnamese gaming empire for the world.
